NY-based harpist needs help completing debut LP

Hi, my name is Eric Rodriguez and I am a self-taught harpist and songwriter of Latin-American descent born and raised in Queens, New York. I am hoping to raise funds to mix and master the 12 tracks on my debut album, which I've titled The Way a Thundercloud is Happy. This record captures my unique style that blends genres and expresses my experience of performing harp music in the subway and living in Flatbush, Brooklyn over the last decade.

Since 2018, I have dedicated all my time and limited resources to the composition and production of my debut album, which I wrote on my harp in my bedroom in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The process of recording the songs faced many financial and practical hurdles, especially during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Over 2022, and into 2023, I sought, worked with, and paid different arrangers to bring my complete vision of my music to life. There were moments when I did not think I would make it to see the completion of my life's work, but I continued to push through painful, challenging circumstances. Today, I am asking for help funding the final mixing and mastering stages of my album, which I cannot afford on my own.

The funds raised will cover the cost of mixing and mastering all 12 tracks as well as publishing fees and a run of physical copies. Contributions will support the independent artists involved in the final stages of the album. I humbly ask for your support in completing my life's goal, toward which I've dedicated all my resources, effort and passion.
