Nyla competes in France & Belgium

We are so proud and excited to announce that Nyla has been asked to be part of a Canadian contingent of athletes who will be competing Internationally .
This will be Nyla’s first time competing internationally and she will be travelling to France and Belgium where she will compete against gymnasts from all around the world.
Nyla is a Junior National Elite High Performance Gymnast and Quantum Niagara Gymnastics is her home away from home. She is a member of the Niagara Acrocats and trains 28hrs per week and she is in her graduating year at St.Kevin’s school.
This past season was Nyla’s most successful year as she is ranked 6th in the country... the bronze medalist on the floor exercise and her two other events where top six finishes, all the result of hard work and determination.
The purpose of these competitions is to develop Elite gymnasts to help them to experience travelling, compete outside of Canada and to get international exposure.
This will be a 15 day trip from November 12-26, 2018 that consists of travelling , training in different countries and back to back competitions which is something new and exciting for Nyla and her coaches.
They first will to travel to Marseille, France to train and compete in the Elite Gym Massilia International competition on November 16-18. From there the team will get to see some country as they travel by train to Charleroi, Belgium. The girls will have the opportunity to train before they compete in the Top Gym International Junior competition held November 23-25.
Any funds raised will be directed exclusively towards Nyla’s training costs, travel, meal plan, hotel accommodations and competition expenses.
Nyla loves gymnastics, she is so excited to represent our city and country at both competitions. Anyone who knows Nyla knows that gymnastics is her passion and she is extremely dedicated. This is one of those special opportunities we won’t want Nyla to miss. To travel and to compete aboard will add tremendous value and exposure for growth. Nyla would be extremely grateful for any sponsors or donations to help her Olympic Dreams going.
