Junior Gold Bowling Championship

Hello world, my name is Allyson Phillips. I am a Senior in High School and I am thrilled to announce that I recently qualified to compete in the 2023 Junior Gold Bowling Championship. I will be representing my state (Oregon) in the Girls 16-18 age group and competing against other girls from the United States and other countries.

I have been bowling since I was 6 years old and it has been my dream to compete on the National stage. In February 2020 my High School team won the State Championship and I qualified to compete in the Junior Gold Championship. Sadly my dream of competing that year was squashed due to COVID. I couldn't practice for a year so I focused on the mental aspect of the game and gaining strength. When my local bowling alley re-opened I was one of the first through the door. I've worked hard to get my game back to an elite level and am so excited that my work has paid off.

The Championship will be hosted in Indianapolis beginning July 17th. I hope to raise enough money, so I can travel to this tournament that I have dreamed of for over 12 years. Any support that you can give me would be very appreciated.
