For a $400 mountain bike, so the planter can use it to get to planting more trees, and more, to help save the Earth.
Here's from Emmanuel Niyoyabikoze:
Your support of the "Greening Burundi" Project will be a weapon of its success and fight against climate change * Project History and Objective to be Achieved * Following the ongoing climate change, deforestation, desertification, soil are gradually becoming infertile, by soil erosion and global warming. As a result, the agricultural sector that provides a lot of Burundian livelihoods is badly damaged, and production is almost unsatisfactory. Poverty then lodges in households, diseases directly related to malnutrition erupt. And the country becomes the first loser. Faced with this plague, I felt challenged as a young Burundian and as the future generation to contribute to reforestation in the fight against climate change, and its negative impacts to ensure the preservation of the environment and reforestation. Therefore, I launched a project called "Greening Burundi," by setting up in October 2018, a nursery of more than 40,000 trees that I plant, free of charge. Since January, these trees have been planted on the 13 schools , on some mountains, along roadsides, river banks, and the population receives them free to plant them in their residences. I would like to ask you to support me financially and materially because this project is expensive to me, and I can not succeed being alone. My goal is to plant 1 million (1,000,000) trees within 3 years.
