NYS CO and Family Lose Everything in Housing Fire
Donation protected
New York State Corrections Officer and his Family have lost everything in a fire at their apartment complex.
Awakened by smoke and extreme heat late Sunday night and unable to grab any possessions, they rushed to safety and watched everything they own be consumed by flames.
This tragedy is made more heartbreaking for the Family of six (three teenage daughters, an older daughter- who was not at home and their dog) by the recent loss of Lisa’s mother to cancer.
Unfortunately the urn (which contains the Mom's remains) was in the home and unable to be retrieved. Needless to say that photos, clothes, identifications, personal items, furniture, everything was ruined.
They are presently displaced and staying with friends as they try to piece back what can be salvaged.
