Supporting Rose Tuttle - NYU Filmmakers Workshop
Donation protected
Hello there! My name is Rose Tuttle, and I am currently a high schooler attending Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, Maine. Recently, I was accepted into the NYU Tisch Online High School Filmmakers Workshop this summer, and I am beyond excited to participate! Filmmaking has been something that has always been in my life. From a young age, I have been acting at the local theaters in my community, writing scripts, and taking pictures. But most importantly, when I had spare time, I would be making films. Whether it was an iMovie with my friends, a video show by myself, or a fun family channel, I was always doing something. Now that I am an incoming senior, people are beginning to ask me what I want to do when I am older. I realized that my passion is film. Filmmaking has everything that brings me joy, from working and helping other people to acting, writing, and learning something new. It has it all, and it would be my dream to pursue this career.
However, I still have a long way to go. If I am going to get into one of my dream schools, one of which is NYU, I need to start somewhere. That is why I applied for the NYU Online High School Filmmakers Workshop this summer. I was overjoyed to find out my application had been accepted and that, with the correct funds, I would get to work with industry professionals and finally explore my passion! However, the total cost of the program is $7,266. Without your help, I cannot attend this workshop. Today, I ask for your help! Even a small donation can make a difference. You would be helping a young artist pursue her dreams.
