Support for Ukrainian Refugees

Hi there, we have taken in a refugee family from Ukraine who fled from an active war zone in Bucha, which is near Kyiv. They had to flee in the early morning of the first day of the war as their town and the adjacent area was the scene of a massive airborne invasion by Russian forces. They spent the next month in Romania in a one bedroom apartment with two other families and since then they have been with us for three weeks here in Canada. Given all of the upheaval they are now looking to secure their own place and find some stability. They are a lovely family intent on making a go of it in Canada as they have no home to back to. Both parents are well educated; Eugen is an experienced architect and Oksana has extensive experience in travel and tourism. They also have two beautiful little girls Ahniia, and Amina.

Our hope for this funding is to aid them with costs for housing, living and assistance to purchase hardware/software applications for Eugen to be able to work as an architect in Canada.
