Ring of Fire

Howdy! Welcome to the fundraising page for our project, Ring of Fire. We're Faith Hagerty and Corinne Jones, and we're thrilled to have you here. Our performance is a celebratory dance piece that explores themes of attraction and coming full circle. Along with our dedicated traveling companions, we are so excited to present this collaboration in honor of the Total Solar Eclipse in Bloomington, IN.

Why do we need your support?

With the support of the Bloomington Arts Commission, Ring of Fire received a grant to sunrise this project! And with the encouragement of our community, Ring of Fire will see the light of day! About the Creators:

Corinne and Faith are friends and creative collaborators. Our paths first crossed at the esteemed Indiana University Contemporary Dance Program, where we both hold BFA degrees. As mavens of movement, artistry, performance, and choreography, over the past six years, we have cultivated a fierce repertoire of performance concepts delving deep into themes of emotion, possibility, and enchantment. The creation of Ring of Fire resulted from a strong friendship and working relationship between us. Completing our vision of this project will be a pivotal moment for our careers.

About the Performance:

Ring of Fire is a space, western, and magic themed dance and theatre performance in honor of the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024.
