Christiansen Family House Fire

The Christiansen’s home caught fire on November 13th around 1:30am. A heat lamp keeping their pet rabbits warm outside caught fire and spread to the home. The fire was raging in the attic above the kids rooms. They exited the home minutes after hearing the fire alarms. We are so grateful that they all made it out safely.

Virtually everything in the kid’s rooms will need to be replaced because of fire and water damage. Insurance should cover repairs to the home. Due to extensive smoke and soot damage throughout the house renters insurance will cover some of the losses and temporary housing. The entire inside of the house will need to be gutted and rebuilt. Repairs are anticipated to take anywhere between 7-10 months.
