Team Indigenous Rising Fundraiser

We are Team Indigenous Rising, currently of Turtle Island and Hawai'i. We are the First Nations, Pacific Islanders, and Indigenous people of our Ancestral Lands and Nations, linked globally through the sport of roller derby. We are Indigenous roller derby athletes, coaching staff, and volunteers. We made our first appearance as a team representing all Indigenous peoples at the Roller Derby World Cup 2018 in Manchester, UK.

We are raising travel funds for Team Indigenous Rising  for the remainder of 2019 and for TI Rising 2020--with 10% of our funds being donated to a charity/non-profit benefiting First Nations people, decided upon with the guidance of our hosts, the leaders of Kahnawake.

Our next scheduled bout will be against Jewish Roller Derby, an exhibition of landless socio-political nations, at the 2019 International  Womens' Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Championships in present-day  Montréal, Quebec, Canada on the lands of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka Kahnawake, on Saturday, November 16, 2019. During which, we will also be selling a raffle basket of handmade items from some of our team members, as well as t-shirts and other merch.
