Due to the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic, the Oak Brook area hospitality industry has come to a screeching halt. Hundreds of employees have been furloughed and laid off, many others have completely lost their jobs. Restaurant, hotel and retail employees are struggling to buy food, pay rent, and pay for prescription drugs, health insurance and other emergency expenses.
