Oak Fire Destroyed Sgambellone Home & Livelihood

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Brittany. I'm trying to raise money to help my mom and stepdad, that lost their home and business in the Oak Fire.

George built their lovely home himself in 1989, which was their pride and joy. They were wonderful hosts to all family and even strangers in need that were passing through. And the fact that this magical, welcoming oasis is now destroyed is genuinely devastating.

They had very limited insurance, and it definitely isn't going to cover the damage to the home, business and vehicles that George restored.

George and Lisa Sgambellone own and operate Mariposa Auto Trim, and George built the building himself on their property, but it is now destroyed. It was their only livelihood for a couple almost in their 70s.

George and Lisa are pillars of the community and have helped so many. George previously was a Firefighter, and Lisa helped with the county's mental health facility. They are both such wonderful, generous people that practically everyone in town knows by name.

Any donation will help because they literally have the clothes on their backs and a couple of special mementos they were able to get out. If you cannot donate, please share so we can spread this through the community.
