Oakfield Wildlife and Woodland Project
We have a fantastic area for the kids to learn outside about nature and wildlife, however the area is overgrown and not being used to its full capacity. We want to reinstate the pond, make the area safe, put in a work station/lab, and wildlife cameras in so that the children can see the animals and learn about them in an interactive way, plus make the woodland area a thriving and inspiring area for the children to learn in and enjoy. Being in nature has a proven calming effect on people and has a beneficial effect on our mental health. If we teach the children now about respect for wildlife and nature, then we are teaching future generations to look after their environment. Please donate to this project that will benefit the SEND children in the centre and the mainstream children of both Fetcham schools. Thankyou so much.
