We are the Oakland Khmer Angkor Dance Troupe, a youth-driven cultural program in the heart of Oakland. For us, dance is more than just movement—it’s a way to honor our ancestors, celebrate our heritage, and pass down the beauty of Khmer classical and folk traditions to the next generation.
Our young dancers dedicate their time and passion to preserving these centuries-old art forms, creating a space where Cambodian American youth can reconnect with their roots and share their culture with the community. But we can’t do this alone.
