HELP SAVE Oakland First Fridays!
Dear wonderful attendees, vendors, and volunteers,
We love hosting one of the Bay Area's largest street festival that brings our community together and makes a positive lasting impact on small businesses, artists, performers, and more. However, the cost of running Oakland First Fridays has become unsustainable throughout this past year due to police and fire charges, other festival expenses, and now construction of the bike lane which has caused a loss of vendor spaces. We are currently in jeopardy of losing our beloved event in the months to come due to our financial situation. We are asking YOU all to come together, spread awareness, and donate (Using our GoFundMe OR CashApp, OaklandFirstFridays) to help save Oakland First Fridays. Your help is needed now more than ever!
If you or anyone you know has the resources to help our event financially via large donations or sponsorships, please contact us!
Funds raised will be used to:
- Fund our community organization throughout the year
- Pay for necessary staff and expenses like security
