More information about The Michigan Humane Society: Mission: To improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for animals. We are a group of students from Oakland University. We are currently working on a community outreach project. We have selected the Michigan Humane Society. Our goal is to raise $200.00 for the Michigan Humane Society. With this money that we will donate the Humane Society will be able to purchase food and care items for the animals!

Michigan Humane was founded in 1877, is the oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization in the state. Each year, Michigan Humane achieves 100 percent adoption of more than 8,000 healthy and treatable animals through compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for humane treatment.
