Oakle’s fabulous life!

Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a friend of the Lucas family and mom to Oakle’s bestie/ twinnie for life!

Oakle is a sweet, sassy, and vivacious baby girl and has a long future ahead of her! She’s recently been given some not so fortunate news about the health of her sweet little heart..

I’d like to reach out and help the Lucas family in anyway possible as they will have a long road ahead of them..

They are a hard working family and have been given a huge obstacle to overcome with their baby girl, Oakle.. She has a long journey ahead of her and is being a strong little warrior..

Please help out with anything you can. Every little bit helps while they embark on their new found journey with their little girl!

Update- 5/16/22 

Oakle was admitted to the Phoenix Childrens Hospital last Sunday night. She’s been diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and is getting listed on the heart transplant list today or later this week..

Update: 5/18/22 

UPDATE: Yesterday was a rollercoaster for sure, the plan was to go down to the OR to put in the Berlin Heart as a bridge to support her until she received her new heart. As last update said, she did go down and was in the OR for about 2.5 hours but only in the prepping stages when they received a call that they found her a MATCH. They found her a new heart! So last night they took her back to the OR to do the heart transplant. The surgery went well and she did great, she is starting her long road to recovery! This is truly a miracle as she was only on the list for 1 day and if they had started her morning surgery they would've had to turn down that heart offer. We can't tell you how grateful we are for our families, friends, and our community for the huge support we've had so far!
