Oakley's family

Hi everyone, my name is Janelle. I’m the cousin of Macy, the mother of four-year-old Oakley, who went missing in the water on April 17th, 2025, in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. On their way to spend Easter with family, they stopped to enjoy a bit of fishing, and that's when every parent's worst nightmare became a reality.

No parent should ever have to experience the heartbreak Macy and Mike are going through right now. While we can’t take away their pain, I hope this GoFundMe can help lift some of the financial weight during this incredibly difficult time. In addition to the challenges they’re currently facing, there may be unforeseen costs in the days and weeks ahead. Macy and Mike also have three beautiful children at home, Dallas, Sailor, and Briella, who need their parents' strength, presence, and love now more than ever.
