Help Get the Seized Kitties Back
Just after Thanksgiving 2016, Caroline's Kids Pet Rescue , which specializes in hospice and special needs cats was unexpectedly raided by the Lake Humane Society without prior notice. They seized over half of the cats whom had a home for life at CK and put them into small cages and carriers in a secured warehouse where they do not let the public visit. The last known photograph is above.
Since then, LHS has filed criminal charges against the workers of CK and the owners in what can only be described as an attempt to shut the 18 year old facility down, Prior to the charges, LHS of Mentor, Ohio sought $48,000 from the owners. Refusing to pay, LHS then filed criminal charges, went to the press for publicity and donation pleas, received a $5,000 grant from the ASPCA and have disrupted the lives of the kitties, the owners and workers forever. Many of the kitties may already have been euthanized.
A donation here helps pay for needed supplies and assistance after the shameful newspaper articles claiming CK was a "hoarding investigation" resulted in a drop of help from the the public.
CK is a 501c3 non-profit and your donations can be tax exempt.
