Oars Of Thunder row across the Atlantic for RNLI

Oars Of Thunder are rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic in the Worlds Toughest Row by Atlantic Campaigns. We are 4 Cornish Pilot Gig rowers from Looe. The sea is very much our work and playground. We are taking on this challenge to raise money for the RNLI. A charity very close to our hearts, so much so we even have a RNLI lifeboat man in our crew.
It will take us around 40 to 50 days in fair winds and following seas. We will be rowing in a shift pattern of 2hour on 2 hours off. In those 2 hours you need to eat, clean and make sure the boat is ship shape. We will have to carry everything we need as this is an unsupported race.

Want to join us in making a difference? Help us raise money to benefit RNLI, and any donation will help make an impact. Huge thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

The RNLI is a registered charity that saves lives at sea. It provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service to 100 miles out from the coast of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and a beach lifeguard service on over 200 beaches in England. The RNLI continues to rely on voluntary contributions and legacies for its income.
