Oasis Cafe Fire

Donation protected
On Tuesday August 24, 2022 a three-alarm fire significantly damaged a three-story apartment building at 901 Divisadero/1640 McAllister, including the Oasis Cafe.

When Taddasse Haile opened Oasis in 2010, he
brought with him 20 years of experience running a cafe in Ethiopia. At the time, the NoPa district of San Francisco was in need of businesses that could bring the community back together. Oasis Cafe became an integral part in the rejuvination of the Divisadero section of NoPa. Oasis Cafe prides itself in the quality and authenticity of its Eritrean and Ethiopian Cuisine.

Not only is the cafe an integral part of NoPa community but it is also particularly special to my family. Taddasse Haile and everyone at the Oasis Cafe has always been extremely kind and generous to my family, especially my grandma who is a resident of the neighborhood and looks forward to her walks to Oasis for delicious food and good company.

Any amount you are willing to donate makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
