Oaxaca Hurricane Agatha Relief
Donation protected
Last Monday - 30th May - an immensely powerful Hurricane hit the south corner of Oaxaca Mexico. Hurricane Agatha brought wind speeds over 100 mph and was the strongest Pacific hurricane to ever have formed in May.
The center of the hurricane hit the beach towns of Mazunte, San Agustanillo, Zipolete and Puerto Angel, before continuing inland, destroying pretty much everything in it's path.

The towns of Tonameca, Pochutla, and the rural settlements that surround them suffered devastating landslides, burst rivers, violent winds, and unimaginable destruction.
Oaxaca state is one of the poorest in Mexico. A qualified person with a good job might earn £100 a week.
These sweet people, many of them from ancient Zapotec heritage have been hit very hard.
Rodrigo and I are using our network of friends to raise money for these amazing people who are suffering immensely right now. The rainy season is upon us and pretty much 95% of the houses had palm roofs that have been destroyed by Hurricane Agatha.
The money raised will be spent on plastic tarpaulins (shelter from the rains), bottled water, tools for excavation, and medical supplies for the rural inhabitants around San Pedro Pochutla, Xonene, Guzman & the most in need from Mazunte and San Agustinillo.
£20 - £50 will go a long way and make a big difference.
Many thanks for your time,
Rodrigo and Isaac
