This GoFundMe will give our production team and crew the seed money to shoot the series OBEAH introduction as a 15-20 min short film. This short will act as a proof of concept to producers, networks and enter into film festivals. Your donations will go directly to our team of artists to help pay for equipment, locations, crafty, talent and post-production.
OBEAH is a drama-comedy series about love, betrayal, loyalty, honor, growth, discovery, loss, trust, abuse, triumph, regret, family ties, friendship, mental health, compromise, neglect, dreams attained, dreams deferred and MAGIC.
This story is about a BLACK WOMAN fighting for an opportunity to know, understand and believe in herself in a world that is doing everything it can to make her belive she isn't who she is. OBEAH is the origin story of LOTTIE CLARK coming into her BLACK GIRL MAGIC.
