Help Shanika Hanna Fleming get surgery for a tumor

Hi, our name is Deserie & Eugene Hanna, we are making this GoFundMe for our daughter Shanika Hanna Fleming who just got news from her

gynecologist that she needs exploratory laparoscopic surgery.  This all started when we encouraged her to go see a gynocologist because she started experiencing pain, cramping, heavy bleeding and bloating, we were very concerned because like allot of young moms she put herself last and never takes time for annual gynocology appointments.  With our support and coaxing, she finally went into see her doctor who examined her and determined that she does have a mass in her uterus but advised her to get an ultrasound which she did, the same day.  They did see a large tumor, but because it was not round like the majority of fibroids they are cautious and concerned.  So the next step is to do laproscopic surgery to go in and look at the mass and have a piece sent to the lab to determine what it is. We are praying that it is only a benign fibroid tumor but we will not know until she gets the surgery done. Please join us in prayer and support for Shanika during this stressful time.   Shanika’s insurance covered all of her pre surgery costs like her examination, pap smear & ultrasound, but will not cover any portion of the laproscopic exploratory surgery or tumor removal, all donations will go towards the cost of surgery.  Her surgery is scheduled for June 30, 2022 will be performed by Doctor Ana M. Hernandez as an outpatient at Southern OB/GYN Associates, Valdosta, GA
