Obiagele Lake Memorial and Scholarship Fund

Dr. Obiagele Lake was an inspiration to her students at the University of Iowa, teaching the politics of race, class, and gender to the undergraduate student body.  Unfortunately, we lost Dr. Lake on June 26, 2020 and are setting up this memorial fund to start the Obiagele Lake Scholarship Fund to help fund the education of undergraduate and graduate students in the humanities at the University of Iowa.   Through your generous donations we hope to both keep Obiagele's spirit alive and help five (5) students every year with a $5,000 scholarship.  Thank you in advance for anything that you are able to contribute.
