Obi's leg amputation due to cancer

Our dog Obi, the sweetest little fella anyone ever met. He is just as much a part of our family as anyone. This little guy has so much love in his little heart and he expresses it with excited licks for anyone he meets. Christmas time is always his favorite because he knows the family and friends will come over and he can lick them all. He gets so excited when people come to the house.
He doesn't understand why his leg broke when he ran. He doesn't understand that cancer has eaten away at his leg bone and caused it to break. He won't understand when his leg is amputated and he has to learn to walk with 3 legs.
Obi is just 6 years old. He is the big brother to our 4 year old daughter Kira, He has looked out for her with gentle loving care and protection since she was born. She has to be extra careful now when she gives him good night hugs and kisses because he is hurt.
We are asking for some help with the medical bills that are already building. The weeks to come will have examinations, surgeries, and chemo-tharapy. There has never been a question of if we can afford it, it has to be done. So that is why we are asking for some help with the expenses. As difficult as it is for us to ask for help it is impossible to not let our Obi get the help he needs to remove this cancer and let him live the second half of his life.
