OBKsisters Youth Program

Edit: Alhamdulillaah, with Allaah's permission and mercy and generous donors, we have reached our initial GoFundMe goal of $5,000. We are increasing our goal to $7,500 as we didn't expect to reach our goal this fast. This would cover a portion of our costs for 2020. We are hoping to raise money for our sisters youth programming at Masjid Omar Bin Katab and we need your help to do so.

Who are we?
OBK Sisters is comprised of a group of sisters who have come together with the purpose of bringing our muslim sisters closer to Allah by way of the Masjid. Located in downtown Toronto, in the heart of Regent Park, we have been running programs for sisters at Omar Bin Khatab Masjid for about 10 years. Some of the things we've done in that time include:
weekly halaqaat + Dinner/Refreshments
basketball for sisters,
workshops,
lectures,
classes,
trips
game nights and activities.

In 2020, our goal is create the best programming for sisters that we can and we need your help to do so. We are hoping to reach a goal of $5000 which would cover a portion of the cost.
