Neurostimulator last chance to live a normal life

Hi, my name is Natalie, 28 years of age. I have a 7 year old son and 6 years ago my nightmare began. It hit me like a truck! I started getting these severe pains on the left side of my face. It was excruciating I could literally scream! It was as if someone was pushing my eye out from the inside. So my endless journey started. I went to see a neurologist. She told me I had severe migraines and started up a treatment. 4 years past, no relief...  It was taking such a toll on my life and got worse every day. I decided to go to my GP.  She was convinced something else was going on and sent me to a different neurologist. After the longest 4 years of my life she told me it was Chronic Clusterheadache aka Suicide headache. They started up treatment, but after 2years nothing really seemed to help. It was one treatment after the other, sometimes I forgot who I was, no sense of emotion, it ruined me physically and mentally to the point where I get hospitalised on monthly bases. Taking care of my son is becoming almost impossible. I was prepared to try everything. So that's what I did. On average I have 8 attacks per day that last 15min up to 2hours.

A couple of months ago my Professor recommended I go to AZ Sint Niklaas. There they told me there was a possibility to be free of this daily exhausting pain. As a chronic clusterhead I was a perfect fit for the operation. They are willing to install a Occipital nerve stimulation on the left and right side of my brain. Since 2014 Belgium's health insurance stopped covering this. Today this treatment would cost me over 25000 euro's out of pocket. I am desperate and losing hope.
This is my last opportunity to be able to live a somewhat normal life and be able to take care of my son.
