A group of my friends and I have decided to begin raising money to benefit The Ocean Cleanup North Pacific Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. UPDATE:
We started this GoFundMe in middle school as a part of a school project in our band class with little expectations for how much we could do. Despite this, we decided to try and do something we cared deeply about, being the ocean. The amount of support we got was mind blowing and we didn’t know we could raise so much as 3 young kids. Now as seniors in high school, we’d love to revisit our campaign and push to raise even more money to help heal the ocean we love so much. It is our job to shape the future we want, and steps like this can help with that.
