Ocean Summit is back! This year, the "Ocean Summit 2022" will be held in Gloucester, MA, on August 6th (Saturday, also connected with Zoom).
THEME: Discuss and strategize Ocean Providence activities in the United States, especially the YOUTH EDUCATION.
Ocean Summit was held in the United States periodically in the past to create a synergy between various groups of those who work in the Ocean Providence. As the world trends show significant adversities for your youths, we feel the urgency to convene together to develop a collective strategy to continue the work in Ocean Providence.
This year, the event will be held at Morning Garden, Gloucester, MA, on August 6th Saturday (full day from 9 AM Eastern Time) with ZOOM online participation, hosted by Ocean Tribe Subregion 1.
For those who can participate in person, we plan to have a boat brought down from Maine (Mr. Greg Odlin) for local fishing from August 3rd to 9th (Tentative, to be confirmed upon fund availability). The purpose of this trip is to investigate the feasibility of reviving the Gloucester Ocean Challenge in the future.

The funds we are raising here on Gofundme will be used as follows:
- $2500 - Mr. Greg Odlin to transport the 28ft boat from Maine to be used for local fishing trips between 8/3 to 8/9 (transportation, fishing tackle & bait, fuel, dock rental, and others)
- $2000~$2500 - Tuna fishing charter for investigating the feasibility of reviving the tuna fishing Ocean Challenge (charter fee & tip)
- $500 - Miscellaneous expenses for event staff (rent-a-car, fuel, etc)
