(VCI) was founded in 2010 as a 501(c) (3) organization with a mission to restore hope by promoting charitable projects, in Eye Care, Education, Sports, and Social Development in disadvantaged communities in Nigeria. OCTOBER 2023 is our ‘Community Drive’ Month. Join us to make it a month to remember the thousands of children in Nigeria who are in need of love, care and, assistance.

VCI promotes the following projects:

VCI EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT
Highs schoolers forfeit their right to go to college because they cannot afford the entrance examination fees. VCI has assisted over 50 students fulfill their dreams to get a college degree. Our goal is to help at least 500 students every year with entry exam fees to assist them get into college. $50 will pay for college exam entry fees for a student and restore their hope of getting into college.

VCI EYE CARE PROJECT
VCI provides free cataract surgeries, eye care education and, services including optometry examinations, and free eyeglasses. It is expected that every year, at least 1000 individuals would have benefited from the program. $100 will pay for cataract surgery. $2 will pay for an eyeglass. There are thousands who are in need of this surgery right now. Help us give them the needed help they deserve.

LIVING WATERS PROJECT
Lack of clean pipe-borne water is a major problem in most communities. Water-borne diseases are on the rise due to this problem. VCI’s Living Waters project provides pipe-borne bore-hole water supply systems in affected communities to help members of the community with essential life support and at the same time curb water-borne diseases. $4,000 will construct a clean water borehole which will benefit about 500 people.

FEMALE SANITARY PAD PROJECT
Thousands of young girls cannot afford sanitary pads every month. They are forced to stay away from school and other social activities every month. Some are compelled to use rags and other unsanitary measures, giving rise to health complications. VCI hopes to provide at least 1,000 females every year with these essential sanitary products. $1.50c will provide a girl with sanitary pads for a month. We can surely give these girls back their dignity.

LOVE KITCHEN
For thousands of families, a meal a day is a luxury they cannot afford. VCI- Love’s Kitchen project provides a hot meal once a week to disadvantaged communities. Just one free meal a week is a major blessing to so many families. $500 can give 500 children a hot meal once a week. Let us spread the love they dearly need.

VCI SPORTS PROJECT
The VCI-Sports project’s 5 -A – Side Soccer Competition is a tool for engaging high school students to be active both mentally and physically. Last year, VCI through the competition gave out 16 scholarship awards to the winners of the competition. 16 participating schools got assistance towards the purchase of school supplies and educational aids. $100 will assist 1 school with school supplies and teaching aids.

The funds raised will be utilized towards funding the various projects, during the VCI annual ‘Community Drive’ in October this year.

Please support one or all of our projects and be a blessing to humanity. and helping us put a smile on someone’s face.
