Ocular Melanoma Journey
Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Sipsy. I am a mother of two little boys- mason(4) and brooks(1.5) and a wife to my husband Taylor. I was recently diagnosed with Chorodial Melanoma- a rare form of eye cancer on a routine eye exam. Luckily my tumor was caught rather early but the treatment for this is rather expensive- even with health insurance. I am not the one who usually reaches out for financial help but I have no other choice. The bills are starting to pile up from Emory and I have not even had my surgery yet. On June 14, 2023 I hopefully will under go brachytherapy in which a radioactive plate will be implanted into my eye which will release direct radiation to the tumor. This will stay in place for 7 days and will be removed on June 21. During this time I am on strict isolation in my home.
If you feel lead to donate to help us with this journey I truly appreciate it. I know not everyone is able to donate finically. This day in time is really rough for everyone!
All proceeds raised will help with medical bills!
I truly believe in the power of prayer and that God is the greatest physician! Prayers are much needed as well-even if that’s all you’re able to give.
Thank you much for everyone’s support already! Every prayer has reached the throne- god already working!
Thank you for your time in reading this!
May god bless you always!
