Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for taking the time to listen to me today. My name is Rubi Navarro and I stand before you with a heavy heart, compelled to share a tragic incident that has affected the lives of my innocent daughter and myself whom is expecting.

It was a thursday afternoon 8/31 that was supposed to be filled with joy and laughter, tragedy struck. A hit-and-run incident involving a motorcycle left my child and myself lying on the ground, fighting for our lives. It is difficult to put into words the pain and anguish my family has endured since that fateful day.

My little girl, who was only 3 years old going on to 4 in about a month and I were walking home from the park when the motorcycle came out of nowhere. The impact was severe, leaving both of us with life-threatening injuries. The reckless driver, without a shred of humanity, callously fled the scene, leaving my family shattered and broken.

That is why I stand before you today, begging you to contribute to the GoFundMe campaign that has been set up to help my family and I lay my daughter to rest.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards medical expenses, and funeral costs. No amount is too small, as even the smallest contribution can make a significant difference.

Señoras y señores, gracias por tomar el tiempo de escucharme hoy. Mi nombre es Rubi Navarro y me encuentro aquí con el corazón derrumbado, obligada a compartir un incidente trágico que ha afectado la vida de mi hija inoccente y la mía quien ademas estoy embarazada.

Era una jueves por la tarde, el 31 de agosto, que se suponía estaría lleno de alegría y risas, pero la tragedia golpeó. Un incidente de choque y fuga involucrando una motocicleta dejó a mi hija y a mí tiradas en el suelo, luchando por nuestras vidas. Es difícil expresar con palabras el dolor y la angustia que mi familia ha soportado desde aquel fatídico día.

Mi niñita, que solo tenia 3 años y en un mes cumpliriá 4, y yo íbamos caminando de regreso a casa desde el parque cuando la motocicleta apareció de la nada. El impacto fue severo, dejándonos a ambas con heridas que ponían en peligro nuestras vidas. El conductor imprudente, sin un ápice de humanidad, huyó del lugar sin importarle, dejando a mi familia destrozada y quebrantada.

Es por eso que me presento ante ustedes hoy, suplicándoles que contribuyan a la campaña de GoFundMe que se ha creado para ayudar a mi familia y a mí a darle el último adiós a mi hija.
