Odie’s Journey:

Odie’s journey began when he was just a puppy. From the start, it was clear he had a special gift. His calm demeanour and friendly nature made him stand out. Recognising his potential, We decided to train Odie to become a therapy dog. With training, Odie mastered the skills needed to offer his unique form of therapy to those who need him most.

The Impact of Odie’s Work:

Odie has already touched many lives. He has a magical way of making people smile, even in the most challenging times. Whether it’s comforting a dysregulated child who needs support to regulate themselves, bringing a moment of joy to children around school, or helping a child manage times of worry, Odie’s presence makes a world of difference.

While Odie’s impact is immeasurable, Odie has been diagnosed with a condition called Osteochondritis Dissecans (OCD). This painful joint disorder causes the cartilage in his joints to crack and separate from the bone, significantly affecting his mobility and quality of life. To continue bringing joy and comfort to those he helps, Odie urgently needs specialised scans and surgical operations. These medical interventions will alleviate his pain, restore his mobility, and ensure he can continue his vital role as a therapy dog, spreading love and comfort to those who need it most.
