Odyssey Literary Festival 2024

The Odyssey Literary Festival is a student-led initiative from RMIT's Professional Writing and Editing (PWE) program. Odyssey is devoted to supporting the voices of emerging and diverse writers whilst providing invaluable skills to the students running the event. Previous guests at our festival have included Alison Goodman, Tony Birch, Sofie Laguna, Jennifer Down, Carly Findlay, Mark Brandi, Fiona Wood, Rajith Savanadasa and Angela Meyer.

This will be the first year Odyssey Literary Festival has run since 2019.

As we revive the festival, we're asking for a little bit of financial support from readers, writers, and anyone else invested in future-proofing Melbourne's vibrant and extraordinary literary scene.

Your donation will help provide tech for events, venue staffing, and all 'round festival merriment-making.

Donors will be automatically entered into a draw for some special bookish prizes. Stay tuned for details.
