Our sister has yet another fight on her hands! After surviving Breast Cancer for more than 9 years, she’s been thrown back in the ring! Your prayers and support are needed more than ever!
“Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?” I’ve asked this question repeatedly. Sometimes more puzzling is “Why does God allow good things to happen to bad people?” With either question – our understanding is not required. What is required – is to know that things will often happen to seemingly undeserving people - and we must trust that God is good...and know things will happen to us that we simply cannot understand.
Nina is one of those truly good people…and I know she’s undeserving of this fight! With everything she faces, her positive attitude and sense of humor are unexpected, but most amazing is her unwavering faith! She continues to hand out hugs and words of encouragement…assuring us all that good will come from this.
This is going to be a long fight! Nina is scheduled for 12-16 weeks of chemo followed by a bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction and a hysterectomy. It is my hope that friends and family will combine resources and help the Storey’s during this hardship! Please join me in making a contribution to lessen their financial burden.
