Funeral fundraising for our young friend Yegor Socolov

Hi, my name is Sergiy.

We are trying to fundraise in the memory of our very young and bright friend Yegor.

Very sadly his young life ended up in tragic today.

He was only 16 and he was daily riding his motorcycle to the school close to his home in West Kelowna, BC

Unfortunately today was his last day. On the early sunny morning on October 3 he got into accident with a semi-truck just few blocks away from his school. Poor kid didn't have a chance to battle the semi and was pronounced dead on scene.

Yegor was very passionate about motorcycles and outdoor life. He was such a nice and kind kid, I remember every time we spent together with his father on the hill wether it's snow or dust. Great memories will be forever in my heart!

Yehor left a younger 10 year old brother Leon. They were very close to each other.

I feel so bad for their parents that October 3, 2024 turned to be the most tragic day of the entire life. My deep condolences to them.

Any financial help to the parents to deal with funeral and memorials will be very appreciated and meaningful over these next horrible days.
