It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Calumet City Police Officer Adam Zieminski #190. On December 7, 2020 Adam passed away unexpectedly from a medical condition while on duty. He is survived by his two daughters, Brooke and Kylie, his brother Mark (Lisa) Zieminski, his nephew Mark (Leah) and their son Matthew, and his nieces Lauren (fiance Joe) and Alexis.
Adam grew up in Calumet City, Illinois and spent his life serving his community. Adam completed 22 years of service with the Calumet City Police Department and received numerous commendations, including two life saving awards. In May 2014, Adam bravely and without hesitation, rushed into a burning home and rescued an infant from the flames. Adam was a true hero and will forever be missed. He made a lasting impression on any who had the pleasure of meeting him.
The money donated to this fund will go directly to Adam's daughters, Brooke and Kylie Zieminski.
