Officer Alex Hamzy

On behalf of the Police Officers in CT, I am asking for donations to help the family of Bristol Police Officer Alex Hamzy. These donations are to help the family and Alex Hamzy's wife, Kate Hamzy, with funeral arrangements and memorial costs.

I personally had the pleasure of working with Police Officer Alex Hamzy in the Police Cadet program in Massachusetts with a group that we all called the Range Rats! I have never met a more genuine person in my life. Alex always had a smile on his face and such a big personality and heart. He truly understood what it meant to be a police officer and loved his job. He was amazing with the kids and always was a fantastic role model for them to look up to.

Officer Alex Hamzy lost his life while on duty serving the citizens of Bristol, CT. I am asking for donations to help Alex's wife, Kate Hamzy, and the rest of his family with funeral and memorial costs during this awful tragedy. My heart breaks for everyone that Alex met in his life. Everyone knew when Alex was around because of his humor and fun attitude toward life. Alex will be missed dearly by many but we will choose to remember Alex with good laughs and his fun personality.
