Code Enforcement Officer Charles “Chip” Case was murdered while doing his job as a public servant on the morning of August 20, 2020.
Officer Case was a warm and caring person willing to assist communities to clean up even during his off hours. As a former Marine, Officer Case always did the right thing no matter if it created more work for him.
Code Enforcement officers are unarmed and no contact was ever made with the homeowner. Officer Case leaves behind a wife and three children ranging in age from 7 to 17. The Augusta Georgia Code Enforcement team are trying to raise money that will help the family of their fallen Officer for funeral and college expenses for his children.
