Officer Chris Farrar Family Support Fund

As you have probably heard, Officer Chris Farrar of the Chandler Arizona Police Department was struck by a stolen vehicle and killed on duty on April 30th, 2021. He was 50 years young. Chris is survived by his 3 wonderful children, beautiful granddaughter, both of his parents, and two siblings. While Chris was a dedicated police officer - earning a medal of honor, multiple life-saving awards, and many community service awards - he was an even better father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son. Chris loved helping others and spent a large amount of his time at church, giving back to the community, and impacted everyone he met, on or off duty, in a positive manner. Chris loved being a police officer and was recently moved into the Chandler K9 unit, earning his dog Benzo, something that he was extremely proud of and excelled at. Chris also dedicated a large portion of his life to helping other officers improve their mental health and showing them how to be the best officer for their community. If you knew Chris, you know he did everything with a joke and a smile and loved to endlessly tease those that he loved most. He was a wonderful soul and although his family, friends, fellow officers, and community will miss him forever, we are glad to know he is at peace in Heaven as he always dreamed about.

His family has had to experience something that no family should ever have to go through and this fund is being set up to try and give them the support they deserve in this trying time. This money will be used to help them support themselves in anything they need, provide debt relief, items that they need, and generally try to provide for them in ways that Chris would have wanted. This fund has been set up by family and the funds will be sent immediately and completely to support his family in any way they need.
