Officer Down Police Memorial Iowa

We celebrate the people who protect and serve. Using the names of Iowa Officers killed in the line of duty from the Officer Down Memorial Page, we plan to create a memorial on private property in Churdan, Iowa. Our plans include three flags and  telescoping poles (already purchased) , a large circular concrete pad with vintage police car and benches, a sidewalk to the memorial, all 218 officers names on the car(or elsewhere), a ceramic coating on the car, a thin blue light, and maybe more landscaping. We already have some trees. We have inquired about some statues that further share the story of officers who have died In the line of duty. We own the lot and keep it mowed and maintained. You can see that if we did this ourselves, it would take forever to do in stages so we are asking for help from other like-minded individuals. All money will be used for the memorial or if the money exceeds the amount we ask for, we will donate the money to a police-related non-profit. We will be very upfront with where the money goes.
