Officer Renato Benitez Sanchez-Memorial Fund

It saddens us to announce the untimely death of Officer Renato Benitez Sanchez.  Our lives changed forever on January 17, 2021, as we learned of his passing.
Officer Benitez fought a hard and tough battle against COVID, and ultimately went to be with the lord.

Benitez was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband to Annel and an amazing father to their 2 young boys, Andy and Christopher. 

Benitez served 5 proud years as an officer with the State of California. He was awarded the Medal of Valor in 2020 for his bravery and wisdom in assisting a civilian during a time of duress.

We are truly fortunate that we got an opportunity to work with you as our acting Sergeant and a passionate officer. You'll will be missed brother! Until we meet again.
