Officer Steve Kuhnau and Family Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Peter Reineke. On behalf of my fellow Officers and Staff at the University of Minnesota Police Department, we have started a GoFundMe campaign to help support Officer Steven Kuhnau and his four children while he is out on an extended medical leave from work. Steven has served with the University of Minnesota Police Department for over 23 years. During his career at the University, he has served as a patrol officer, investigator and instructor in several areas. His contribution to the University Community has been invaluable and has certainly been missed in his absence.

The last few years in law enforcement have been a very trying time for all of us in this line of work. If you serve in law enforcement and have a family member in law enforcement or friends in this work, you know that we will do all we can to help take care of the people who mean the most to us. Please join us in helping Steve and his family through this difficult time.

The money raised will help the Kuhnau family continue to pay for housing, living expenses and the costs related to raising his four children.
