Officer White in a Tragic Accident

Donation protected

Officer Chris White was in a terrible car accident on April 15th. He was attempting to recover his son's vehicle from the side of the road when his sons car slid off the roadway during the hazardous snow storm on April 15th.

Subsequently, Chris was struck by a vehicle driven by a 17 year old girl. The  oncoming car struck Chris in his lower leg area pinning him between the two vehicles... in the aftermath of the accident Chris was flown by helicopter to the hospital and had to have his left leg amputated at the knee in order to stop the bleeding. The girl was taken to the hospital via ambulance with non life threatening injuries.

It was later determined that Chris had such extensive damage to his right foot and ankle that the surgeons had to amputate Chris's right leg also, this time at mid calf.

Chris is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys working out. He spends his spare time with friends and family and many of the things he once enjoyed will now become very difficult if not impossible for him to do.

Lets rally around Chris and his family and show them that we are here and willing to help. There is going to be a long recovery process for Chris that in all actuality might take years for him to become accustomed to... lets help our brother, our friend, someone who has spent years of his life keeping you and others safe.
