Sr. Corporal Lemus Heart Attack Recovery

Hello everyone, my name is Liz and I am the oldest daughter of Sr. Corporal Jose Lemus. My dad Jose Lemus has been an officer for 16 years for the Dallas Police Department. He is an amazing father, husband, son and brother. On Tuesday, August 1, 2023 my dad woke up like any other day, put his badge on his uniform and went to work. Later that afternoon, my dad started to feel very ill. A couple hours later my dad suffered a major heart attack where he was immediately taken into surgery.

UPDATE: He is now at home recovering and getting much love from family. His recovery process will be a lengthy one and he will require time away from work. If you are able to help our family during this time it is greatly appreciated. My mom will be the only one providing for us until my dad gets better.
