Officer’s House Destroyed by Fire
Donation protected
In the early morning of June 8, 2019, an officer on my squad got a call from his wife that their house was on fire.
The officer rushed home to find his wife and dogs had made it out safely but the house along with their vehicles and property had been completely destroyed by fire.
I can’t imagine the sadness and loss they’re going through. All the photos, personal effects and possessions instantly gone.
This officer is veteran of approximately 12 years with my police department. He is reliable, trustworthy and hardworking and to hear the sadness and despair in his voice was heartbreaking.
While insurance will help with possessions, the immediate financial strain will be great. This is where I hope to find those with a giving heart to help out.
I’d like to raise some funds so these two can breathe during this time of stress and sadness. Any and all donations are welcome.
Please share if you feel so inclined. Thank you for reading and God bless.
