Offset legal fees paid by Keith Mahaffey

Hello, my name is Chris Murray and I live in the Forest Trails neighborhood (Union Cross area) of Winston-Salem. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help repay Keith Mahaffey for legal fees that he has incurred in his efforts to lead the fight against the outside sandblasting activities at Piedmont Hoist and Crane.

Keith has been working tirelessly to attempt to reverse the actions that have been taken by this company, the City / County Planning Board, and the Forsyth County Commissioners. In his efforts to try to force Piedmont Hoist and Crane to abide by the requirements they agreed to under their original manufacturing use permit granted by Forsyth County, which prohibited any outside manufacturing work of any kind, Keith has sought legal counsel and incurred over $8,000 in legal fees.

Just to let everyone know, Keith does not know that this GoFundMe has been created. He has never expected to be reimbursed for these fees. However, I think that since his efforts have been to try to help everyone in the immediate area of this company and to try to maintain the property values of our homes, we could all make some donation toward his personal outlays.

Please consider a contribution to this fund if you believe that Piedmont Hoist and Crane and their activities are potentially having any negative effects on our property values in this area.
