Mental health organisation Ogle.

A close person of ours committed suicide at 24 in year 2018. During grief we decided it's time to talk more seriously about one of the biggest causes of death in youth, so my family and a bunch of like minded friends started this small mental health themed music festival in 2019. It was so successful that the same year we launched an organization and started planning many depression and suicide discussion evenings with mental health experts as well as a support group for people who have lost loved ones to suicide. Next year we just gained more traction and despite the pandemic organized a very small and covid19 safe music/discussion event and a couple of online events. Now we have become one of the most notable Latvian mental health support organizations . All thanks to the volunteers, our own time, money and the support we have gained from donors. We ask you to help us yet again- the last year has left a strong impact on people's psychological state, and we need your support to raise funds for a very large project- inviting suicide prevention professionals to teach 120 latvian people how to support someone in a critical moment of considering or attempting suicide. We are excited to bring this groundbreaking knowledge to Latvia, and hope you want to be part of our success!
