Ohio Torque Baseball Club Education-Trade Fund

Hello everyone,
It has been a blessing for the past 20 years developing and coaching players in the game of baseball. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with youth, boys and girls, from the ages of 5-18 years of age. This has included overseeing hundreds of players and coaches in both public and private programs to help teach the fundamentals, discipline, teamwork and respect of this wonderful game.
Over the past 10 seasons, we have created the Ohio Torque Baseball Club as a fully competitive travel baseball program. We have developed over 350+ players at many age levels since we started in 2015. During this time, we have prepared our high school players to push themselves to be better overall players, but most importantly, better overall people. Each year, with our high school age Ohio Torque teams, we have been blended with players from 10-12 different high school programs. Our leadership focuses on maximum effort, teamwork, discipline and respect throughout our development of each and every player to help them compete on each level that they compete against.
Understanding, that not all of our players will play sports at the college level, we wanted to focus on starting an Education - Trade school fund program that would help all of our players (starting this season; our 10th Anniversary) that choose to attend higher education as well as trade schools. Our goal is to provide scholarship funds to each player that will be attending college or trade schools in the fall of this season and each season moving forward. It is extremely important that we support the development of our youth in more things than sports as we prepare them heading in to the adult world after high school.
I am extremely grateful, proud and thankful for all who have helped along the way in helping our area youth to reach for their next life level. The least that we can do is to help support them in any manner that we can as there is no greater experience then that of continuing our pathway of education!
